Call for International Student Representative

Dear International Students,

As you already know, we have a “Student Council” at IUE which is represented by IUE students studying in different programs. This “Student Council” is a bridge between students and university administration and it aims to communicate the expectations and requests of the students developing their educational, health, sports and cultural needs. 

In this respect, we would like to share our “Call for International Student Representative” who will be a part of IUE Student Council to represent our international community. The only criteria for application is to be a full time international student at IUE who finished the first year of his/her studies.

After we receive the applications, we will ask all our international students to vote for the nominees and we will elect our “International Student Representative” accordingly.

What are the duties of International Student Representative?

- To represent international students at IUE Student Council

- To develop and implement programs, services, activities and initiatives that creates a welcoming environment for international students

- To engage and increase participation of the international students’ community at IUE

- To chair and govern meetings to collect international students’ opinion on international students’ related issues.

- To cooperate with IUE Office of International Affairs in order to increase awareness about international student community on campus 

The candidates who are interested in this position are invited to apply online by simply filling out this form until November 17, 2026.

We will be waiting for the applications to proceed with the election. 

* To be eligible to run for the position of International Student Representative and to vote in the International Student Representative elections, students must have completed their course registration for the Fall Semester of the 2026–2027 academic year.
