International Academic Seminar Held by the Department of Computer Engineering

We are pleased to share that the International Guest Lecture on “Finite Automata: Foundations of Computational Thinking” was successfully conducted today, 26 October 2026, by the Department of Computer Engineering, Sivas University of Science and Technology, Türkiye. We sincerely thank Dr. Saranya Pachamuthu, Associate Professor, Department of Computing Technologies, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, India, for delivering an informative and engaging session. During the lecture, she clearly explained important concepts including Finite Automata, Formal Languages, Algorithm Design, Logical Reasoning, and Computational Thinking, along with their relevance to computer science and software development. The session was highly useful for our students and provided valuable academic insights into the foundations of theoretical computer science. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Saranya Pachamuthu for sharing her knowledge and expertise with our students and for contributing to strengthening international academic collaboration between our institutions.
