NOTICE REGARDING INITIAL APPLICATIONS AND RENEWALS FOR ESENBOĞA HANGAR ACCESS CARDS

Students applying for an Esenboğa hangar access card for the first time or renewing an existing card must prepare all the documents listed below and submit them no later than 2 November 2026.

1. STUDENTS APPLYING FOR A HANGAR ACCESS CARD FOR THE FIRST TIME

Forms to be completed:

The original layout of the provided forms must be preserved. Rows, columns, and tables must not be moved or rearranged.

• FORM 7

• FORM 12

• FORM 0: Must be submitted by email to [email protected].

• FORM 5: To be completed by international students only.

Other required documents:

• Security Awareness Training Certificate: Must be obtained by taking the relevant examination through the KDM system. A separate announcement will be made regarding the Security Awareness Examination.

• A photocopy of both sides of the student ID card.

• A photocopy of both sides of the Turkish national ID card.

• Three biometric photographs: Must meet passport photo requirements and measure 50 × 60 mm.

• For international students: A current residence permit document.

2. STUDENTS RENEWING AN EXISTING CARD

• FORM 0: Must be submitted by email to [email protected].

• Lost cards: The loss must be reported to the nearest police station, using FORM 8 as a reference.

3. IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR COMPLETING THE FORMS

1) Forms must be completed on a computer.
The original layout of the provided forms must be preserved. Rows, columns, and tables must not be moved or rearranged, and content must not shift onto other pages. Documents with altered formatting will not be accepted.

2) The criminal record declaration in FORM 7 must be completed carefully.
In the criminal record declaration section of the “Personnel Security Investigation and Archive Research Form,” students with no criminal record must mark the “Adli sicil kaydım yoktur” (“I have no criminal record”) option with an “X.” They must then handwrite the exact Turkish statement “Adli sicil kaydım yoktur” and sign in the space of approximately one line immediately below the marked box.

3) The residential address must be the address where the student actually resides in Ankara.
The full address of the house, dormitory, or hotel where the student is staying in Ankara must be provided.

4) All information requested in the forms must be provided in full.
Telephone numbers and email addresses must be entered in the designated fields. Pay attention to the order of the name fields: where a field is labelled “Soyadı–Adı” (“Surname–Given Name”), the surname must be written first.

5) International students must complete FORM 5 and include a current residence permit document with their application documents.

IMPORTANT REMINDER

Students are responsible for ensuring that all documents required for their hangar access card application or renewal are accurate, complete, and submitted on time.

The documents will be forwarded directly to DHMİ (the General Directorate of State Airports Authority). If an application is rejected, a card cannot be issued. Students without a hangar access card will not be permitted to attend hangar classes.
